Domestic Bliss...

I'll be honest with you. I've never been Angelina's biggest fan, for whatever reason (truthfully, these days I don't even remember why I have a problem with her). But whenever I'm asked to think of the most beautiful woman in the world, this 2005 W Magazine photoshoot invariably comes to mind. Featuring the Sixties Face in all its authentic glory, I give you...

Domestic Bliss
Photographed by Steven Klein

Tired of celebrity portraiture and always up for an artistic “jam sesh,” as he calls it, Pitt essentially codirected the photo series. He opted to set it in 1963 (the year he was born), a time when the last traces of the squeaky-clean Fifties were giving way to something more complicated. “The facade was still being maintained,” he says, “but things were starting to crumble underneath.”

Love. Love. Love.

I agree, this ed is really memorable. Angelina is a complex creature. She seems cool but she has this... heat simmering just below the surface. Both of them make domestic bliss seem so cool. I just wish they featured the Brangelina brood (my fave is Maddox) as well.

I have no opinion of Angelina Jolie. I don't consider her the most beautiful woman but I can see why others would.

I agree though, this shoot is amazing
