This is a month old, but I'm sure we can all still appreciate it's magnificence.
Vogue Paris takes a look at the fall collections with a mega-sized 65 page cover shoot photographed by David Sims. Through the combined efforts of Carine Roitfeld and Emmanuelle Alt, models Freja Beha Erichsen, Iselin Steiro, Joan Smalls, Dara Werbowy, Isabeli Fontana, Crystal Renn, Frida Gustavsson, Aline Weber and Monika Jagaciak don pieces from fashion’s biggest names including Marc Jacobs, Chanel and Alexander McQueen. It is truly a visit into fashion paradise with Sims’ L’hiver Avant L’hiver.
Many, many more after the jump.
What do you all think? Fashionably over-the-top, or is it just too much?

I know that I'm going to get mentally stoned [the biblical kind...] at this but... that Freja girl puts me off completely. It could be the most lusciosuly styled editorial ever but if she's the model... my aesthetic appreciation gene shuts down. and why is she always naked??? How does it sell the garment???
You too can look this anorectically androgynous if you sling the Cavalli brocade coat over a chair and wear the bag as a butt sling???
ha!
I do like the OTT-ness of this editorial though. It's so very 'now' in terms of what the savvy fashion designer/publication is doing... a la Victoria beckham and Tom Ford... ensemble star cast and intimacy...
nice editorials

It's good to know that this fall, less is more.
But some of these are so gorgeous. It's hard to play favorites, but i like the Gianfranco with the floral bathing cap.

How cute is that?!?
I managed to get my hands on a hard copy of this while I was in France on holiday. It made me happy for ages.
I find it a bit weird how this is effectively multiple editorials in one-each model has a very different theme: clothing, set and photo-style wise. My faves are the ones of Frida, I think it is? The black and white ones. The Freja ones, on the other hand, are just a bit scary.
