I am aware that this quote has nothing to do with style. But I figure considering, a while back, I already spent a post discussing Brigitte's style in her first Dress Like an Icon feature, I might introduce a discussion on this interesting quote, this time around. What do you think? Do you agree with Bardot's thoughts on women's liberation? Or is she way off?

Dress Like an Icon...Chloe Sevigny

Don't be upset, Chloe. The public is capable of multitasking, appreciating both your style and your talent. Besides, the Queen of Cool doesn't get upset about anything, because frankly, she just doesn't give a damn. If you've ever wanted to try your hand at emulating the look of the Queen of Cool (after all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery), look no further for help...

On another note, I've made some minor changes to the layout of the robins. New features include...

1. New pages. From now on links, including blogroll and shop sites, have been given their own pages. I feel it does them more justice, than to have them squished into the ride-hand sidebar. Besides, the perfectionist in me is pleased at how much neater it looks.
2. Badges. Badges have also been given their own page. All new pages can be found under the header.
3. Ask me anything. I love answering questions, so if you ever have anything to ask me (and I mean anything - no matter how mundane, or extreme), I've placed a question box in the right-hand sidebar, underneath Labels. I may publish the question and answer (unless it's inappropriate, or unless you've expressly asked me not to), in case others wish to know the answer, also.
4. Suggestions. If you have any suggestions for new features at all (I'm very open to new ideas), please let me know in the comments, and we'll see how we go.

I'm so excited (I've wanted to a layout change for so long, now). I hope you all enjoy!

With her waif like figure, boyish hair cut and striking eye lashes, Twiggy created an image that would epitomise an era. She became the idol for millions of teenage girls of the sixties revolution. By the age of 17, Twiggy was one of the most famous faces on the planet: her photograph was even encased in a time capsule and sent into space. By this time in the sixties, Twiggy had already become a household name across the globe, an icon whose image graced the covers of Vogue, Tatler and even her own American publication Her Mod, Mod Teen World.

Wow two Marilyn posts in one week, I must be developing an obsession.
