A little bit blue...

Do you ever wish you could just sleep the days away...?

I hate to sound like one of those totally ungrateful teenagers...but I'm sure everyone feels a little blue at some point. The comparison is over-exaggerated, but it certainly hits close to home.

I definitely know where you are coming from. Being a teen is so much harder that you would think it should be. Hope you're not feeling blue for too long! x

Oh yeah, you take being blue to an artform of some kind. Sometimes though, you don't know how good it was .. until it was over. But definitely a lot of obstacles to face. People telling you you have to hurry up and decide your future when you have no idea it thats what you really want. Its hard to find your passion sometimes.

Oops..hope that first sentence wasn't too 'off'. I have a friend who was so compulsive in high school. She loved to lie about her life and she'd get her own little group of girlfriend, build them up and then treat us like crap. Then she ended up being in the hospital...for her mental problems. Now, none of us hardly see her anymore. She stays at home. A lot.

If only it all went away the moment you turn 20...

Sorry, I should offer optimism: Things are exactly what you make them, it's far easier to let negative feelings rule your life.

I often think of the movie Say Anything when Lloyd asks his sister, "How hard is it to decide to be in a good mood and be in a good mood once in a while?"

And wonder, why exactly, it is so hard.

Shoot, I didn't do the optimism.

I love this picture and I absolutely adore cats. Yes, I do wish I could sleep days away sometimes. In the past I temporarily felt envious of cats being able to do that. I haven't been feeling that great for many parts of this year so I understand what you mean.

Yes please! That bed and the cute kitty totally make me want to do that!

SO TRUE, ohhh my god, like actually creepy. I was just thinking how much I would actually like to be ill, so I could spend the days watching pointless tv and catching up on all my unread Bloglovin posts and the runway shows and sleeping and reading because THERE'S NO TIME.
