Dress Like an Icon...Brigitte Bardot

(item details)

As you can probably already tell, I quite like Brigitte Bardot. As one of the most beautiful actresses in French film history (in my personal opinion) Bardot's impeccable style continues to be emulated some 30 or 40 years since her heyday. If you've ever been inclined to try your hand at the Bardot look (I know I have), look no further for help...
Many more icons to come in the near future.

So gorgeous -- I love her. She is positively iconic, and such great style. Clean, classic, and bombshell all at the same time!

one of the most beautiful actresses in film history, french or otherwise!

i adore her. her hair and makeup still looks modern today, simply stunning!

plus, she still looks wonderful today and is a huge animal rights activist. love!

Bardot is such an icon of sexy French femininity! Whenever I think of her I think of voluminous wavy hair and black eyeliner.

It's rainy here :( Right after those photos were taken it started to pour on me! haha! and i use a nikon d70s. if you want a resonably good priced SLR.. that's easy to use and good quality.. i suggest the nikon d40 :)

what a great idea for a post: choose an icon, and then build and outfit around her. Lovely post. And, I really want a striped shirt - this just makes me want one all the more!
